Hi everyone,
My wife and I will be attending an old coworker's wedding which we normally don't see that often (we hang out with them maybe once every few months). We got invited to their wedding the same day as another family event which is near the wedding reception. We will be at the ceremony but will be missing the pre-dinner + dinner all together and will probably go back to the wedding for drinks/dance after the dinner is over.
My wife and I usually give $100 each to cover the meal mainly and some drinks. But in this case not sure what would be a reasonable amount between the two of us.
Not looking for exact answers, just looking to see what others would do or pay in similar situation.
