Background: I live in the central Texas area where it's been around +95°F for the past few days. I live in a 1495 sq.ft house, have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 3 Honeywell 7-Day Universal Touchscreen Programmable Thermostats (kitchen, master bedroom, and guest bedroom. Two person household. Gas stove, which is not included in utilities.

Utilities Bill: Our utilities includes electric, water, sanitation, sewage, drainage, roadway maintenance fee, electric city tax, and sanitation sales tax. For this month, our electric bill increased from 1532 KWH to 1693 KWH (daily avg KWH 49.42 -> 52.91). Our water bill increased from 14 MGW to 27 MGW (daily avg MGW 0.45 -> 0.84).

I'm not sure what we are doing differently? We take 2 ~10 minute showers a day, run the dishwasher maybe once week (usually handwashing most days), and have the AC set on a schedule. Our bill is $440.91 for this month, which seems a bit high for 2 people.
