For the context, I didn't grew up in the US so I don't know much about the eating out culture here in the US. With that out of the way, the portion in the US is too big for me. I'd be comfortable sharing my entree with my wife. That way, both of us don't overeat, don't have to box the leftover and also saves us money. I don't need the cook to cut it up for us, just give us extra utensils. I don't know if it's considered rude or cheap to share entrees in the restaurants and will restaurants treat you different in subsequent visits?
