I’m a computer science student at CUNY and I recently launched my first app. I was frustrated with the rising cost of college books, pathetic buyback prices and limited stores near my campus. So, I created a peer-to-peer renting app that allowed CUNY students to rent, lend or borrow college books on campus. In the beginning, the app was intended for college books exclusively and now it has evolved to much more! You can rent, lend, borrow, sell or buy almost anything! Additionally, you can list services or task such as, dog walker, photographer, mover etc.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for on the app, request it!
Rental FAQS
- We screen all renters, sellers, buyers and listers. Additionally, you can require renters to provide a selfie along with a government issued ID/Passport before renting your item.
- We currently insure up to $500 for lost, damaged or stolen items. NOTE: We’re increasing this amount as we continue to grow.
- You can also require a security deposit for each one of your items which is collected upon reservation on the app.
- Payouts are daily!
Selling/Buying FAQS
- We screen all sellers and buyers.
- Payments made securely through our app are held until the buyer receives and has thoroughly inspected the item. Once inspected, the buyer can release the payment to the lister or request a claim for a refund.
- Payouts are daily to listers!
