Need help not getting low balled. Selling an 2001 Corolla. Dead battery since 2018. Lost keys.

Trying to help someone sell their old car and we all don't have any detailed experience.
We called a company called Peddled and they offered $ 100 and they will tow it for no extra charge.
Would that be a somewhat fair price ($ 100)?
They also asked for the V number and asked for the names. Was that a normal or unsafe move?
