My dad is getting laid off June 2020. Him and my mother live together with two of my siblings, me and my other sister are out the house. I believe we are all still on his insurance plans. He was told post-layoff he will get 48 weeks paid and 6 months benefits. What can I do to help and what can he do between now and then. He is 58. Sorry if the information is all scrambled, my mind is all scrambled.

Edit#2: he is a computer programmer. He is getting. Laid off because his position is getting outsourced to Brazil I believe. I believe he's good at his job. I think he's one of the last 8 team members if I remember correctly. I don't know Jack about it all I'm not a computer guy really
