Looking for retirement income and am looking at these types of funds. 25 percent fed tax bracket, 63 years old, single, no heirs other than charities. Already have cd's, stock index fund, treasury bills. Wanting to invest 250,000. Any thoughts, preferred companies (Putnam, lord Abbott, etc). Money sitting in tax free money market now.
