So I'll keep this short....we just had a newborn 3 weeks ago via c-section, and I looked at my insurance statement today...the hospital maxed out my wife's out of pocket max ($6000) then added another $2000 in charges to my newborn who I hadn't even added to the plan yet (and had no complications, no time in the NICU). This doesnt seem like it should be legal...wouldn't all delivery charges be charged to my wife? Is there a way to fight this?
