For my son's birthday coming up i would like to put together a busy board (he will be 4). The problem is i'm the least handy person in the world.I figure i'll go pick up some switches, some toggles, some latches, and such and screw them into a board with some little 'doors' with hinges on them.My first (and biggest issue) is where to buy a nice finished piece of wood big enough to entertain a 4 year old and how can i go about finding little 'doors' without cutting, rounding, staining, etc?I'll try to stop by lumber liquidators tomorrow to see if they have a right sized piece of finished hardwood maybe?any help would be appreciated.
