I like my Alexa Dot. One thing that pisses me off is that I like tower fans for the most part and even with smart plugs, they won't work because you have to touch the switch to turn it on.I've thought about just wedging something into the crack so the switch is permanently pressed down, but I'm wondering if it could possibly lead to a short or burn out the switch. I really don't want to take everything I buy apart and replace the switch.I'm sure other people are annoyed by this but I guess I can't think of the right search terms.Any advice is appreciated and I apologize if this is the wrong sub. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2PPUO5a
