I moved to Cali about 2 years ago. When I moved to Cali my car insurance skyrocketed, it was expected because I am under 25 and was leaving my parents plan. Anyways, Progressive ended up being the cheapest. Since then, every 6 months I check around to see if I can find cheaper rates since I've ALWAYS heard it is good to shop around and even change to keep your rates the lowest it can be. However, it seems Progressive continues to be the cheapest for me. They lower their rates every 6 months for me.
Anyways, I share this to ask if any of you have had this experience; you shop around and find your current provider continues to be the cheapest.
This normal for you all? Any tips to see if I can find cheaper rates?
I have medium/high coverage, M24, just married.
