DIY Oat milk is dirt cheap, and many would argue more healthy for you. But two main issues I had when switching to Oat Milk:
1: Stirring it when it Separates. When I'm just waking up, I don't want to go through the process of taking out the pitcher. Opening it. Getting a spoon to stir, being careful not to drip, and then having a big spoon to clean after.
2: Accelerated Sogginess with Cereal. Oat milk is essentially just oat water, so for me it makes things very soggy very quick. At least twice as fast. My normal pace through a bowl of wheaties, they'd be mush about 3/4th of the way through.
I can't post the links, but there are Pitchers with Built-In Stirrers, and Bowls Split down the middle for the sogginess issue on Amazon. These have really helped me, though they aren't cheap themselves (together they were $25) but they made it much easier to switch to oat milk, which has saved me a lot more money in the long run.
