Last night I found out that my Grandfather was found dead in his home. This man was the most important family member I have, and on top of feeling lost from losing him.. I’m also at a loss for what to do with everything he left behind.
He left me as the only person on his will. He has a house (paid off), a truck (also paid off) a life insurance policy, and a bank account that are all now in my name.. I’m really just looking for any advice. Personally I don’t have a ton of money, I had to book a last minute ticket to fly across the country to do as much as I can. And I am extremely overwhelmed with everything.
I know he wanted to be cremated, but as far as everything else goes I have no clue what to do. Please if anyone has gone through this and can offer advice or just knows what the best actions to take are I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
