Ever since I was in high school (26 now), I was told how important your credit score is. I have a nearly perfect credit score and I truly don't understand how people can let theirs go to complete shit. It's actually pretty simple; don't miss payments, and pay your balance off in full every month. Your credit score is SO important when buying/leasing a car, buying a home, and buying ANYTHING on credit. I don't understand why you wouldn't want to protect that.
And if you cannot afford to pay your payment in full each month, you cannot afford your spending habits, and I suggest you stop. It's truly going to get you into a lot of financial trouble. Credit cards are not fake money. They have real life consequences if not taken seriously. I wish more people my age knew this....
