What’s the best way to save money on rent in a really expensive market like SF, NYC, London. — Restrictions:
Outside of roommates, private residence, or living in a bad part of time what has worked for you all. Just a simple 1 bedroom apartment/condo in a decent part of town?
how would I decrease my monthly rent by 1-20% given these restrictions? — Food for thought (some ideas that come to my mind on how to do it): Longer leases? Dressing professionally when viewing the unit? Negotiating? Responding fast? Paying in cash?
