It's me again, talking about Barneys. So, I popped into Barneys Warehouse near O'Hare this evening and they are indeed having a sale. https://i.imgur.com/za9PcOR.jpg
It's decent, nothing to jump in the car for unless you're within a 45 minute drive. Discounts range from an extra 20-60% off lowest ticketed price.
Some Off-White shirts and crewnecks are additional 30% off. Then there is Ovadia, Heron Preston, and Palm Angels, if you're into those brands, also at 30% off. Suits and blazers are extra 20% off, tuxes are extra 40% off (about $500 after everything which is decent). There are some shoes at 30% off, mostly Barneys brand and nothing too stylish. Jeans are 60% off, but I didn't check that rack. There are a few Stone Island jackets. There used to be a Thom Browne rack with OCBDs that worked out to $90, but that is no more. A shit ton of Barneys ties; leather bags and fannypacks; and dress shirts if you're in the need of some solid stuff.
The women's side looks far more interesting, some Balenciaga and Prada bags, but still quite steep.
If the guy I talked to is to be trusted (hello), the store will close first week of November. Several rounds of discounts left.
