I try to run air cleaners in every room, but the costs can add up. A small Honeywell unit can be ~$100 new. Oof.

While my local thrift store almost always sucks, they do have real air cleaners for all of $8 (US). I came back and bought most of them. I wrapped them up in black trash bags, sealed with duct tape, and left them on my car's dash in the summer sun to help kill off any bugs. Filter replacements are on the way from eBay and Amazon. I'm not even out $50.

These take up a lot less room than the box fan filter I made.

I didn't get the ion breeze units as I always just found they just made the things behind it get really dirty. I prefer charcoal in front of paper filters.
