My wife’s mother has forced herself to be an authorized user on her B of A account for over ten years. She watched every single cent we spend and yells at us if we spend money on anything she doesn’t approve of. Is there anyway to personally remove her from our accounts or does she have to remove herself? It is taking a toll on our relationship, however I do not want to force my wife to sacrifice her relationship with her mother. She is too controlling and affecting the mental health and financial stability of us both. She hardly allows us to pay the rent without verbally abusing my wife.
