I couldn't believe my eyes tonight. Never go to Kroger but the road to Walmart was closed for construction. So I went in. Their Kroger brand 2-liter pops are just .79 cents which is the same as Walmart. But here is the thing. Kroger has flavors that Walmart doesn't have. Also, Walmart often times doesn't have the whole diet lineup in stock. They haven't had diet root beer in stock the 6 times I went there this month.
Kroger's Big K brand has Diet Root Beer, Diet Cola, Diet Dew, Diet Cherry Cola, Diet Dark Cherry Cola, and a few I could be missing. They have regular sugar style Strawberry but not diet.
Anyway, I also picked up a thing of 141grams of organic spinach leaves for only 88 cents because they expire today. I am eating it tonight with grilled chicken and a general tso sauce. Very good.
After this experience, I see no reason to go to Walmart anymore for grocery items.
