My Kenmore dryer stopped working 3 weeks ago. Started looking around to have someone come check it and it was mostly $89 for the diagnostic only, cancelled if serviced with them but still. After watching some YouTube videos I learned that it might be the exhaust vent was clogged and caused the dryer to overheat and this blew the thermal fuse. I got myself a $14 Dryer Duct Cleaning kit on Amazon and I was able to also find the Thermal fuse for $6.
After getting everything 1 the next day it literally took me 1 hour to do everything and voila dryer working again and better than before because no clogging.
Saved some money and impressed my SO.
Win win!
