I’m 19 in Colorado, and today my parents started the process to file for Title 7 Bankruptcy; given that I’m starting to branch out into being more financially independent, I’m curious how this is going to affect me. Will something like this mess with my credit in the future? Are there any other potential repercussions I should know about during or after this process?
They’re mostly handling this by themselves, so I’m likely not going to have a chance to actually talk to their lawyers about it.
