For 2018, I had a normal job with a w2. I didn't drive for uber or have any other income of some sort. I filed my taxes with Turbotax and expected that was the end of it. I expected a return around 1200.
First notice come in asking for about my health insurance. I provided my documents.
Second notice comes in stating I owe a balance of 280. Paid
3rd notice comes in stating I owe a balance of 1800. Spoke with IRS on the phone, and got a payment plan.
4th notice comes in stating I'm getting audited. Balance is now at 3200.
My question is, what the hell did I do wrong? Why do I owe so much when I didn't do anything different or abnormal compared to previous years? And why does the IRS continue to send me different statements about my balance. I spoke with Turbotax regarding my balance, and they told me that the IRS owes me a refund. I have been calling IRS many times, currently on hold for 3+hours. How the hell do I fix this damn thing?
