Hi there! Two part question, part one of which is probably the reason for part 2:I just bought an older rolltop desk that has been brush-painted black. I like the look of it, but the paint itself appears to be of low-quality: it appears to be damaged pretty easily, and, more importantly, it's slightly sticky (I'm assuming it's latex-based paint, but I honestly don't know how to tell the difference). Any ideas for what to do in order to make it less sticky? (ETA: it's had enough time to dry. I actually bought it with a coat of dust :( )Second: the rolltop itself sticks, and is difficult to open and close. The groove the rolltop runs through has been painted along with the rest of the desk, so I assume the paint has something to do with it, but I wanted to see if you had any ideas for making it work more smoothly. I've considered slapping some white grease on it, but I'm afraid that might make it worse, somehow...Thanks in advance! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2LWzXt7
