I have a Samsung S7 Active phone that is approaching its three year mark. Im reasonably satisfied with the phone, but I am tired of the shit battery life. The performance is somewhat lacking in commom apps like Google Maps, but thats also probably due in part to the fact that it lives in Medium-Battery-Saver to make it through the day.
I have all the tools i need to replace the battery, and i could get a replacement one for $15-$30. Or i could get a new phone. Something in the $400-$500 range, spread out over the 2-year plan, blah blah.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback or advice from this great community.
