I’ve been with a large investing firm for 5 years now. Plan was to invest semi-aggressive. I’m at 3% gain per yr avg. and have paid some healthy capital gains. I told him I thought we could avg 7-10% in this good market. He said good luck with that. I told him that my 401k managed through work has achieved over 10% avg. I think it’s time. I think the firm is ok but my guy is a dud. Shoot over his head and complain or find a new firm? Shouldn’t his bosses see poor performance and intervene before the client bails? Too busy to diy.
