Not sure if this is a great place for this, but I always get good help from here.
Been on the railroad for 1.5 years now, so I've literally been working outside for that long. I've decided to go back to my skill sector in food manufacturing, hired back at an old employer that I had to leave during an emergency. I left with good notice and they hired me back now with great pay and benefits. Plus a great title also, chemical process Operator.
I'm leaving the railroad because of the schedule, I'm too tired now to work too much overtime and have weird off days. Yea they have great retirement package but so do other places.
Anyways, I'm about to put my two weeks in, im cleared for start at the new place. Just feeling the nerves, ill be back inside, nothing to worry a out weather wise, good schedule and great pay.
Hoping for the best.
