So I’ve been a floor nurse for a decade and am transitioning into an administrative role starting this week. I have NO business casual clothes, so today was my shopping day. I found a cut of pants I liked at old navy and went ahead and made a stack of all the colors I wanted to purchase without paying attention to the individual price tags, just relying on the display table price to be correct. They all came from the same table, are all the same cut, but one rang out at $0.97. The lady at the register was like “oh look at that, these pants are less than a dollar- they’re an Easter egg” and kept on ringing them up without a pause. I didn’t stop to question. I just took the discount and ran, but is this an actual thing that happens at Old Navy?! Sorry if this question seems idiotic, I was genuinely confused but was not going to question further and end up paying the additional $38 lol
