If you get your hamburger meat from Walmart by the pound it costs $3.48/lb for ground Chuck (80% lean 20% fat) where I live. An 8 lb. Box of 32 burger patties (also Ground Chuck) from Walmart costs $19.83. that's an entire $1 cheaper per pound.

I'm sure there are better deals out there but this saves you about $8 for 8 lbs. Lasts a while and all you gotta do to get a pound of beef is grab 4 patties and grind em' up by hand or spatula.
