Hey there r/DIY, after much back and forth between my landlord and I, I've been granted permission to remove the wall separating my bedroom from the other bedroom beside me, and while I have all the tools required, I have none of the know how! This will reno will involve tearing down a wall, dealing with the two electrical outlets in this wall, filling the ground area of what was once the wall with a floor, and filling in the above clarea with a ceiling. I have very little experience with any such work (thanks grade 8 woodshop) but I'm very motivated to learn as this will more than double my living space.
