1) Removed existing toilet and cut concrete using a round diamond blade in my regular circular sawhttps://i.redd.it/vlk2i8f2r1231.jpg2) broke the concrete using a hammer on the opposite side of axehttps://i.redd.it/1kdyt8a0s1231.jpg3) placed the draining in using 2 inch piping and put up the frame of the shower using 2X4 studThe toilet will be on right side, shower in middle and vanity on left side.4) finished making a curb and structure of shower and filled it up with stones(the 4 inch pipe in center is just temporary to block the cement that will be put down from going into drain.)5) Used regular concrete mix for the first layer of the base. After placing cement I removed the 4 inch pipe and placed in the bottom ring for the drain with stones in the center so excess water that seeps below has an area to drain into(used oatey drain system)6) put down Oatey waterproof membrane and then put down mortar and used slope guides to get a nice perfect slope for the water to drain.cut X's into the membrane so the drain bolts seen in last image could fit through; the top part of drain hooked into those bolts.7) finished base for showerNice and smooth with a slope for tiles. Two levels of cement was used (one below the membrane and one above. I did this in case water would seep through the top layer of cement. It would go to the lower level and drain into the center)7)pluming images for drain and water supply:should be rotated water supply for shower headdraining and water supply for vanity8) put up cement boards and waterproofed it using redguardhttps://i.redd.it/xcki36mgv1231.jpg9) started tilling the floor and walls of showerhttps://i.redd.it/1w7x8bb5v1231.jpg10)Tilling floor near the toilethttps://i.redd.it/7gtm0bhev1231.jpg11)finished product of showeradded glass showerhttps://i.redd.it/dryn467zv1231.jpg12)vanity:http://bit.ly/2WjPWYS) I ended up making this area into an apartment and renting it out on airbnb so I can make a few dollars and pay for my kids babysitters while I go to school full time.
