Just throwing an extra few grand (CAD) into a self directed TFSA broker account. I've done a little research, and for the limited amount of money I'm putting into it initially (probably will augment existing by 300/month moving forward), is to focus on lower priced but well performing ETFs.
I have a little bit of experience playing with cryptos, but I find that sector to be just way too speculative and its more effort to keep up with than I'm willing to put in right now, but the point I'm making is I have some experience reading charts, etc.
That said, I've found 3 ETFs and have done a little research on each, and are my own initial picks, just looking for some advice on whether I'm on the right path, or if there's something else I should be looking at.
My goals are wanting to re-invest the gains from these initial investments in the next 3-5 years (medium to long position) and begin to increase my portfolio on bigger players that will provide longer term yields (for retirement, etc).

My plan is to put $1K into each of these three funds initially, then add 100/month to each ETF moving forward.
Thanks in advance!
