I’m a medical resident with 3-4 years left. I’m putting money into a Roth IRA and in a year when I get an employer match for my 403b, I’ll be doing that. In the mean time I have about 40k in savings that I’ll need when I graduate residency. I was thinking about putting 50-70% of this into short term bonds like Vanguard short term index fund. Any better suggestions?
