Greetings everyone.
I moved to CA to live my brother and try get a job in tech after graduating from my bootcamp. He mentored me but 6 months later his girlfriend came and things started going downhill because they had arguments over me staying.
I decided to move back and retake some parts of my course plus do more career mentorship to find a job elsewhere. I wanted to do that in the beginning but my brother wanted me to find a job in CA until his gf came. Now this is my chance to do what I think is better.
Preparing for the interviews was pretty difficult and it took time for me to learn in CA. I was also constantly worried about not having a job and when the issues between my brother and his gf occurred, I just couldn't keep staying there. It's their life.
I think its best if I find any company in any state, not California to work for.
Before all this, I was a teacher after getting a degree in English but my pay was very low so I switched to coding for a career in tech.
Now that I am going home, I know I have to start over. I intend to be out all day everyday on the job hunt and educating myself. Are there any tips for those who've been through the same or similar?
