When speaking about a mortgage with people much more clever than me, they very often state that cash flow is the most important, ie they prefer have a very low mortgage over a very long period of time rather than a high mortgage over a short period of time. To me the latter also means the house (or whatsoever) "quickly" becomes yours.
Why is it that generally speaking cash flow is more important than capital?
