A few years ago I got tired of going through cheap shoes quickly, so I dropped some money on a nice pair of Red Wing shoes. Unfortunately they only ended up lasting one or two years. The Zappos I got to replace them are on their last legs now (lifespan extended by some insoles I had laying around), and I'd really like to have something nice and reliable that will be with me for some time for the next pair of shoes.
