I'm 25 years old and start a job after 5 years of being unemployed ( Fell seriously ill and developed major depression ) and don't know anything about finances.
Currently make 11.00 an hour working retail and live at home with little financial responsibility. Living rent free but I do help with groceries and other utilities when needed.
No plans for moving out soon either. We like our living situation and all get along with one another.
Given my situation, what's the best course of action? I assume save as much as possible? I'm pretty much starting from square one again and would greatly appreciate any input.
