Hi, I'll jump straight into it. I make enough to support myself and girlfriend with rent and groceries every now and then.
I just got a new job and will be receiving a $1k paycheck after a week of work, it's my first time being paid by this company.
Here's why I'm asking this question: I don't own a phone, computer, gaming system, really anything to keep myself entertained. I'm writing this on my girlfriend's phone which is paid for by her mother.
I don't have a car, and I barely make it to get groceries.
With this new job I'll be able to support myself thoroughly.
I'm simply asking, should I save the money, or should I get myself things to keep me going? I'm kinda depressed without ever having anything for myself.
If I got things for myself (like a phone or something) what are my cheapest options that don't completely suck?
