I'm currently in an apartment with a large sliding glass door on one wall, which is my only window and hence only way of cooling down in the summer (the air conditioner has its own problems but technically works if need be). There's a large gap, about 1/4" wide, that appears to be built in because of the track at the base of the door. The track isn't adjustable and the door can't be relocated; the door itself barely slides and gets stuck in the track, for that matter. Ideally I'd like to still be able to use the deck to store a bike, but as long as I can open the glass door and have air flowing it's good enough. Are there any solutions, preferably easily-removable, folks can recommend? I can't remove the door to install anything, it all has to be in-situ. (And yes, I've contacted maintenance; they've failed to fix the door itself multiple times now, hence why I'm taking it into my own hands. I'm tired of swarms of gnats and other little bugs making a home on my ceiling.) via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2JE70lh
