Here is a quick markup of the area. My wife wants to get a cabinet for the bottom part and do a built-in shelf for the upper section. After a lot of searching, that 52" width is not a size in which cabinets come pre-built.Would it be better to have one custom made, or just buy a pre-built cabinet and put in a filler fascia board on the sides? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2W9XBrF
