So, for starters: I'm a r/vagabond, fancy way of saying I am a traveling hobo. I have two little pups who love the life on the road, from exploring amazing creeks and waterfalls to long morning/night walks across states. The problem comes with the gear they have. Both wear cheap metal choke collars. They are not my preferred choice, but I had to buy something made out of metal so they can't chew it away as they did with several previous collars. And said metal chokers are starting to give them serious neck skin bruises, their skin under the collar is very red and has little fur in some areas.I wanted to know if with absolutely no money and little to no experience I could make a chest harness (so that it doesn't destroy their necks), preferably made out of something they can't chew but is still comfortable (maybe chains covered in cloth? I dunno, I ain't good at this).(Same for little dog shoes, as I'm really scared of one day these pups stepping on glass shards and getting some nasty cuts, or even just the wear and tear of walking barefoot for several kilometers on asphalt...).Is it possible? Where do I start? via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2ZY8USL
