After having bad luck with so called bifl boots which did not live up to the reputation despite my religious care.
I have had a look on the goodyearwelt guide and it was a bit overwhelming.
What I'd like is a boot that I can wear all year, rotating of course so I'd be looking to get 2 pairs.
Comfortable is a preference, but hard wearing is a must, I do lots of walking.
Steel toe is neither here nor there, I can take it or leave it.
Ideally high top, 6-8inch maybe?
Budget £300ish each, but preferably less
