Fixing to pull the trigger on one or the other. The Thorogood are much softer and feel almost broke in where as the Iron Ranger definitely will need to break it but seems like it will be more durable. I wish they made the Iron Ranger in an 8". I know there are alot of die hard Red Wing fans but has anyone owned both and if so which would you pick. I am looking for weekend wear only. These will not be worn daily if that helps.
Update: decided to go with the Iron Rangers. Would like to have the amber harness color but its only availble on Amazon with the cork sole. Is the Vibran sole better?
