I haven’t bought any stain or anything yet, so if anyone has any suggestions on what to buy, I’ll take them. As far as color, my wife would like to do some sort of dark cherry look. I’ve never done this before, so I’m just looking for some tips/tricks to help it go a little better.From what I’ve already read, you should let the deck dry out after pressure washing it, but different sites have given different lengths of time for it to dry out. Some say 24 hours is good enough, others say up to 72 hours.It is supposed to rain all weekend here in central Illinois. I’m not sure if I should just go ahead and spray all the paint off now and just wait for a couple days of sun to come back and stain it, or if I should wait until there’s a forecast of several sunny days to spray it off and stain it as soon as it dries out.Any input would be appreciated. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2Mcisa2
