Hey guys I’m 19 years old I’m planning to move out of my parents house this year....I have a passion that I’m chasing which is music and the only way I can really chase my dreams without toxic people getting in the way is moving out....me and a buddy of mine want to get an apartment that cost 1050 a month plus utilities....we both make around 700$-800$ every paycheck and we get payed bi weekly....we decided to both save until about the end of the year then move out so we could have some type of financial security....our goal is save about 10k before making the big step....I was wondering if that is a realistic plan.....we are also having a third roommate with us who makes a little less than us but it’s still money coming in for rent,food etc......could any of you give me financial advice and tell me if it’s a good idea or if I need to switch some things around....Ive decided to chase my passions but I’m still thinking smart and trying to plan ahead correctly.
