I’m 18 years old. Usually it went me paying 300, my mother paying 300, and my aunt paying 200 (800 dollars a month). Also I pay 40 dollars a month in my phone bill and 80 dollars in electricity and internet bill. My Aunt is returning to NY for finish up college so now it’s just me and my step brother and step sister. We’ve already arranged for their dad to take them back to NY for a year while my mother goes through this.
I have approximately 250 dollars saved up and am currently not working since I work construction and when there’s nothing to do you’re stuck at home. I’ve been incredibly lazy and ignorant throughout all of high school and now I’m getting the rude awakening to the real world and need help on where I can go to find a consistent job for someone who has nothing but a high school degree to his name. Financial advice on how I can get through this year without having to worry about losing our small home would be helpful as-well.
