In short, my daughter was born on 2/6 at 29 weeks. She had to be air lifted to a hospital with a higher level NICU. The air transport service billed 55k, called me for permission to submit it to my insurance, which of course I gave. My insurance listed that they received a provider discount and paid the claim in full for 52k. The air lift provider is attempting to balance bill us for 3k. We’re in California. Is there anything we can do to get this fixed? We’ve met our insurance out of pocket max.
