Home Depot makes chipped car keys for $70! I think it only works with certain makes and models, but definitely worth checking. I saved myself at least $80. Last time I had to make a copy of my key I called a bunch of dealerships and the cheapest I could get it done for was $150. I believe the copy they'll make you though is not a master, so be sure to keep the original key somewhere safe if you ever need to make more copies!
