I only want one light bulb to shine so I slackened the three other light bulbs, they don't lit when the switch is on. Is that a fire hazard/dangerous?

Wanted to have a slice of Newfoundland but couldn't afford a lot of art. Made a collage from postcards and calanders instead.
Does anyone make their own clothes?
