My mom plans on using these old IKEA couches we have and turning them into raised beds for our garden. I've been looking this up and so far i'm seeing that the wood should be fine. But I couldn't find a date on when they started not using chemicals since it looks like the furniture is from 2013 (So says the fading marker on the fabric label).
Has anyone tested or does anyone know if the wood would be safe to use for gardening?
