I hope this is the right sub, I couldn’t think of anywhere else.
I’m visiting LA, been feeling unwell and now in an emergency room waiting for a bed.
My travel insurance expires at midnight (in 2.40 hours).
Does anyone know if my care will be covered for the duration or does all financial support end at midnight?
Update: spoken with insurer Legal and General, while the agent wasn’t the best and the international line wasn’t wet clear, he seemed to say I’d be covered for the duration if the care starts while the policy was active.
